Parceled is free for 100 API calls and 5,000 map tile requests a month, with every field available and no card. After that you pay $0.01 per credit, either as prepaid packs that never expire or pay-as-you-go billed monthly with an optional cap. A call is charged only for fields that return data, and coverage checks are always free.

## How many credits does a call use?

Each data field has a credit cost, charged only when the field returns data for the property. Search results are charged per row the same way, so a 100-row page of parcel records costs at most 100 credits.

## How do I add credits?

- Sign in to your [Parceled account](https://www.parceled.ai/account) with the email you connect Parceled with, then choose a credit pack or set up pay-as-you-go. You pay on Stripe's checkout page.
- Credits land on the account, so every connection on that email sees them: ChatGPT, Claude, other MCP clients and API keys.
- In Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients, the `purchase_credits` and `enable_payg` tools return the same Stripe checkout link to open in your browser.

## What happens when I run out?

A call that would go past your free calls, your credit balance or your monthly cap is refused with a billing error before anything is charged. Nothing renews by itself: prepaid packs are one-time purchases, and pay-as-you-go bills only what you used that month.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do Parceled credits expire?

No. Prepaid credits stay on the account until they are used.

### Can I cap what pay-as-you-go spends?

Yes. Set a monthly cap in credits on your account page. Calls are refused once the month reaches it, and the count resets on the 1st.

### Do I pay for empty results?

No. A field that returns no data for a property costs nothing.
